JCPA Plenum 2011
Adam v’Adamah: Human Beings and the Earth: The Intersections Between the Environment, Energy, and Security
How can we support policies that promote conservation and environmental stewardship while increasing energy security and reducing dependence on foreign oil? What is the federal government’s ability to regulate greenhouse gases? How does this affect human health, global climate, and security? This session will explore these issues as well as our Jewish values of protecting creation, supporting innovation and economic development, and security for the U.S. and Israel.
