COEJL works closely with a network of Jewish and interfaith leaders, institutions and individuals to bring its message to the Jewish community and beyond. COEJL is grateful for the active support and involvement of many organizations throughout the country which share our commitment to stewardship and protection of the earth. If you don’t see an organization in your local area, contact us and we will find a way to connect you!
Jewish Community Relations Councils and Other Affiliates
Working together with its regional partners, COEJL helps provide opportunities to get involved in Jewish environmental activities including education, greening, and advocacy. As members of a national network under the umbrella of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, regional Jewish community relations councils (JCRCs) encourage civic and social involvement and provide a common table around which member agencies deliberate on issues relevant both to their local community and the Jewish community at-large. Regional COEJL affiliates are grassroots members of COEJL’s network that are frequently associated with JCRCs.
